The Bandits swept the Cowboys Monday at Twin Falls after a 12-4 and 8-4 sweep on the road.

Game two wasn’t as easy as the Bandits’ 35 previous games this summer — tending to finish before seven frames and with double-digit leads — though.

No, instead, the Bandits utilized a late, six-run inning to wipe away a 4-1 Cowboys’ lead. The Bandits would eventually win 12-4 after they added five runs in the seventh inning stemming from back-to-back-to-back scores hit in by Brandon Bialas, Bridger Taylor and Randon Hostert.

Hostert pitched 5.1 innings in the win, striking out nine batters in the process.
The win advances the Bandits to 33-3 on the year.

In game one, the Bandits beat the Cowboys 8-4 behind Hunter Leavitt and Jace Jones’ work at-bat.
Jones was perfect: 3 for 3 and an RBI one offense.

Leavitt, on the other hand, made the most of his chances: 0 for 3, but three RBIs.

Dalton Virgil had a notable day, too, earning two runs and going the distance on the mound. He pitched 6.1 innings and allowed 10 hits. He did allow one home run to Ryan Eller.

Eller and Jackson Stutzman were solid for Twin Falls. The two combined 6 for 6, three runs and four RBIs in Monday’s game one loss.
