Bees get historic win over Rams; Jan. 10 boys basketball roundup

At Pocatello, the Bonneville High School boys basketball team took down Highland 58-41 for its first 5A District 5-6 win.

Bonneville coach John Tucker said Tuesday’s win is believed to be a program-first win over the Rams.

“Our radio guy’s got records for 25 years,” Tucker said. “In 25 years, nobody’s won at Highland. I’ll take it. We were playing really well defensively. That led to a lot of easy and good transition buckets.”

Dillon Sorensen had a game-high 18 points, Tyler Scoresby had 13 points and Kehari Harrigfeld had 10 points for the Bees (5-7, 1-1), which plays Thursday at District 93 rival Hillcrest.
